About Us Chelsea Hospitality Group (CHG) is a family-owned hospitality company based in New Jersey, dedicated to creating world-class food and beverage experiences. CHG's latest project in Morristown, NJ involves managing multiple food and beverage outlets within a sustainably built, mixed-use property. These outlets include a ground-floor restaurant, conference catering, pantry services, and pop-up concepts.
Job Overview:
We're seeking a motivated Conference Catering Attendant to assist with catering operations and meeting room setups in a brand new, sustainably-designed office building. In this role, you'll focus on ensuring seamless food and beverage service for meetings and events, maintaining conference rooms and pantries. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent hospitality.
What You'll Do:
Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests Set up, maintain, and clean up catered meals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, beautiful presentation, and attention to detail. Stay informed and knowledgeable of all menu items and proper mise to accompany each dish Prepare and organize conference rooms as well as other workplace hospitality venues Maintain the high standards of cleanliness and proper appearance throughout all areas of the workplace hospitality venues Collaborate with culinary, facilities, and IT teams to ensure meetings and events are setup for success and run smoothly Maintain an inventory of catering and conference room supplies, restocking as needed. Restock and maintain workplace pantries, ensuring cleanliness and availability of refreshments and supplies
What We Need From You:
An eagerness to continue to learn and grow A strong hospitality mindset with great attention to detail Experience in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred, but not necessary Ability to work well in a team and take direction as needed Available to work 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday with flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
