Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Set Up (Houseman) team member to prepare and arrange event spaces for a variety of functions, including weddings, conferences, and special events. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming and seamless experience for guests by ensuring all banquet areas are properly set up according to event specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Arrange tables, chairs, and linens according to event layouts and specifications Ensure all banquet spaces are clean, organized, and fully prepared prior to events Assist with the setup of buffet stations, beverage stations, and other event-related equipment Coordinate with catering staff and event coordinators to meet specific guest needs Transport and position furniture and supplies safely around the venue Break down and clean banquet areas after events, ensuring all items are stored properly Follow food safety protocols when handling linens or any food-related items in setup areas Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests during event preparations Requirements Knowledge of banquet setup procedures or event planning is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods during setup and breakdown Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed Prior hotel or restaurant experience is beneficial but not mandatory Join our team if you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy creating memorable events for guests. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
