Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. As a Busser, you will assist servers and contribute to the overall efficiency of the restaurant by helping to manage table turnover and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for the next guests. Assist servers by refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, and responding to guest requests. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Help set up tables for special events or catering services as required. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Support the overall operations of the restaurant by helping with various tasks as directed by management. Qualifications Previous experience in a bussing or food service role is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a restaurant setting. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
