Full Job Description Description:
Summary The Breakfast Attendant sets-up, maintains, and breaks down the breakfast buffet and assists the guests as needed to ensure that all foods are properly served while providing guests with excellent customer service. Essential Functions Set-up buffet according to procedures and brand standards Maintain buffet throughout the service period, restock buffet items as needed and have all food items and utensils out in a timely manner. Inform Management of any items that need replenishing on the buffet as needed. Assist guests; help serve as needed and respond to questions. Clean off buffet table including putting all utensils, food and other items back in the appropriate place in the kitchen or coolers. Monitor dining room area continuously and attend to spills, waste on floors, or other housekeeping needs of the area. Perform side work duties as needed. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guest's service needs.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience Food service experience preferred. Hotel experience preferred. Attention to detail Verbal and written communication skills. Work Environment This job operates in an indoor hotel and kitchen environment. This job continuously uses standard food service and cleaning equipment and chemicals. This job is occasionally exposed to fumes, gases, odors, dust, and biohazards. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, supplies or equipment; reach with hands and arms overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping; climb stairs; communicate or listen. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull or place cleaning food products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
