13 Weeks Rotating weekends and holidays required Onsite Position Position Overview This is not a traditional Dietary Aide position . The primary responsibility is supporting the hospital's dish room operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment while working efficiently as part of a team. Responsibilities Wash dishes, trays, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils throughout the shift. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain continuous dish sanitation to support hospital food service operations. Lift and transport heavy pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen work areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Support kitchen staff with general food service duties as needed. Work efficiently in a hot, fast-paced commercial kitchen environment. Adhere to hospital safety procedures and departmental standards. Qualifications Recent experience working in a commercial or healthcare dish room required. Previous experience in hospital food service, dietary services, commercial kitchens, institutional food service, correctional facilities, or school/university food service preferred. Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift. Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours. Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
