Job Description

Mesilla Provisions, an authorized purveyor of Boar's Head Brand products in New Mexico, is hiring a Food Merchandiser with an optional developmental track towards Account Manager. We are a small, dedicated team that takes pride in delivering high-quality food products and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Product Merchandising & Display Merchandise Boar's Head products after deliveries to ensure shelves and displays meet brand standards. Maintain visual appeal of products by following planograms and stock level requirements. Rotate products properly to maintain freshness and comply with food safety standards, and assist with updates to necessary documentation. Customer Service & Sales Support Build strong relationships with store staff, managers, and delivery associates. Communicate effectively with store personnel and the Account Manager to answer product questions, address inventory needs, and resolve issues. Travel & Schedule Travel required to service multiple store locations. Full-time position, Monday-Friday schedule.
Pay Range:
$16-$20 hourly Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of merchandising or related experience Food service or food preparation experience preferred Exceptional communication skills: ability to read, write, and communicate clearly Ability to stand for up to six hours per day and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs comfortably Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while following instructions Reliable access to check emails and communicate while in the field Valid driver's license required for travel between store locations (no driving of company vehicles in this role) Why Join Us? Account & Relationship Management:
You will learn to cultivate partnerships with store personnel, manage inventory effectively, and implement sales strategies to drive success at each account.
Brand & Food Safety Standards:
A primary focus is protecting the brand by ensuring consistent product quality, proper rotation, and strict adherence to food safety policies across all locations.
Deli Operations & Staff Training:
You will gain expertise in auditing "Behind the Counter" protocols and training deli associates to maintain high service standards and visual appeal in the store. This pathway provides hands-on experience to build the skills and confidence needed for advancement.
