In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a fresh, inviting breakfast buffet, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and providing exceptional in-person customer service. Duties Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service hours Follow food safety sanitizing procedures meticulously to maintain a hygienic environment for both staff and guests Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, and plating dishes in accordance with quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas, countertops, utensils, and equipment by performing regular cleaning and sanitation duties Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when handling guest orders or purchases Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests Experience Previous experience in food handling or food service roles is highly desirable, especially within fine dining or catering environments Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, coffee machines, or warming trays is preferred Background in serving or banquet catering enhances your ability to manage high-volume service periods efficiently Knowledge of wine pairing or barista skills can be an added advantage for elevating guest experiences Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests in person Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing weight handling in the workplace Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable mornings!
