In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming while assisting guests with their needs. This position is vital in creating a positive dining experience and upholding our commitment to hospitality. Responsibilities Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Prepare and present food items according to established standards. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service. Monitor food quality and freshness, adhering to food safety guidelines. Clean and sanitize tables, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain inventory of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Skills Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when taking reservations or inquiries. Experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or barista is beneficial. Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation practices in a food service setting. Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and serving are advantageous.
