Job Description

What to Expect Our ideal Cafe Assistant can work autonomously, as well as in a team environment. The Cafe Assistant is part of a larger Workplace team responsible for making sure our Gigafactory customers (our Tesla employees) are happy at work. As a Workplace team, we ensure their facility needs are met so they can work to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. A successful Cafe Assistant candidate will be mindful of personal cleanliness while keeping all café areas spotless and always stocked. This position is physically active, requires the ability to prioritize tasks, and be mindful of peak break times for all Gigafactory employees. What You'll Do Maintain a clean cafe environment by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces Restock cafe products including coffee, snacks, teas, and condiments Receive and distribute deliveries around the facility using pallet jacks and utility carts Manage inventory for food & beverage products to support the entire factory Use cleaning solutions to clean countertops, when needed Keep workspaces and Back-of-House storage areas neat and tidy Identify and report possible repairs What You'll Bring Valid driver's license required Must have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail Ability to lift 50 lbs. for an extended period of time Ability to wear
