Role:
The Restaurant Service Support role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations within a dynamic dining environment. This position focuses on providing comprehensive assistance to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction. The individual will be responsible for supporting service staff by managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas. By efficiently handling these tasks, the role contributes directly to the smooth flow of restaurant operations and the delivery of high-quality guest experiences. Ultimately, this position serves as a backbone to the restaurant's service excellence, enabling the team to meet and exceed customer expectations consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in food handling or hospitality management. Experience with inventory management systems. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
Assist service staff by preparing and replenishing service stations with necessary supplies and equipment. Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. Manage inventory levels of service-related items and communicate needs to management for restocking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas in compliance with health and safety standards. Support the resolution of customer inquiries or concerns by liaising with appropriate team members. Help train new service support staff on operational procedures and customer service standards. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
