Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and proactive Busser/Runner to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the backbone of smooth service, ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include clearing tables, assisting with food delivery, and supporting the front-of-house staff to keep everything running seamlessly. Clean bathrooms and sweep and mop dining room, The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent guest service in a lively hospitality environment. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Support in food running tasks, ensuring dishes are delivered accurately and on time. Help with general cleaning duties, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations to uphold food safety standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for supplies or equipment following safe lifting practices. Maintain open communication with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service smoothly. Provide friendly in-person customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and basic food preparation is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Familiarity with banquet or hotel service environments is beneficial. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
