This position includes preparing food, helping customers, keeping the deli area clean, stocking supplies, and following food safety procedures. We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior deli, food service, kitchen, or convenience store experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Prepare deli food items such as sandwiches, breakfast items, hot foods, and grab-and-go items Greet customers and provide friendly service Take customer orders accurately Maintain a clean and organized deli area Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures Check food temperatures and product freshness Stock deli supplies, ingredients, and packaging Label, date, and rotate food items properly Clean counters, equipment, prep areas, and display cases Assist with inventory and deliveries as needed Follow all store policies and health department requirements Report equipment issues, low inventory, or customer concerns to management Qualifications Must be reliable and punctual Friendly and professional with customers Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for long periods of time Able to lift and stock supplies as needed Basic food prep skills preferred Deli, food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Schedule Day shift Evening shift Weekend availability Holidays as needed Full-time and part-time shifts available

Pay:
