This is a tipped position. Restaurant banquet set-up staff job description summary: The restaurant banquet set-up person is responsible for room set-up of restaurant banquet and catering events, ensuring room is clean and set according to Restaurant Event Order details. Will also break down rooms, making sure room is neat and clean and all tables, chairs, AV equipment, etc. is put back in proper place. May be responsible for service of coffee breaks for meetings. Essential duties and responsibilities of the restaurant banquet set-up person include the following: Responsible for room set-up of all banquet and catering events in the restaurant. Ensure that restaurant banquet rooms are clean and set according to Banquet Event Order details. Responsible for breaking down rooms after events; making sure the room is neat and clean, all tables, chairs and AV equipment is put back in its proper place. Service of coffee breaks for meetings, as needed. The restaurant banquet set-up person is frequently required to lift up to 50 lb. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or
