In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a memorable start to our guests' day, fostering a positive experience that encourages repeat visits. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills within a vibrant hotel setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet hotel standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, or replenishing buffet items as needed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of food items, utensils, and condiments throughout service hours Adhere to manual handling guidelines when lifting or moving food trays and supplies to prevent injury Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with catering setups or special event breakfast services when required Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining, food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety management practices is essential Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently with attention to detail Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor in person Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory counts Experience with POS systems for cash handling transactions preferred Familiarity with wine knowledge or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods while performing cleaning and food preparation tasks Comfortable with manual handling and weight lifting in accordance with safety guidelines Join us as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
