Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to food service standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and have a passion for delivering quality food service.
Position Overview:
Assist in daily food service operations by serving meals, handling cashier duties, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria to support a positive dining experience for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve food to students and staff efficiently and courteously Operate the cash register and manage transactions accurately Clean and sanitize dining and kitchen areas Assist with food preparation and restocking as needed Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines
Qualifications:
Customer service experience preferred Basic math skills for cashier tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain cleanliness Experience working in a school preferred, not required Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Successful candidates will be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a courteous and Christ-like attitude; and agree to adhere to the standards of moral conduct and mission, vision, and values of both Harvest Preparatory School and World Harvest Church.
