JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE

Food Service Assistant Part-Time/Seasonal

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Ohio drivers' license, TB testing results adequate for food services. The ability to follow instructions; bend, stand, or kneel for intermittent periods of time; use sanitation methods and safety protocols as required by licensing and certifying authorities. The ability to multi-task. Work well with a team and independently. Strong written and verbal communication. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Serve Safe certified preferred.

DUTIES:

• Maintain and adhere to guidelines according to city health And Stark County Health Department and the Department of Agriculture.
• Clean and maintain all food areas and equipment
• Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records
• Perform food preparation or service tasks such as cooking and prep.
• Supervise residents assigned to kitchen duties
• Temperature Checks
• Observation of all special dietary sheets
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Prepare meals according to approved menu and guidelines.
• Serve meals
• Transport meals
• Uses positive verbal and non-verbal communication; and interaction skills when working with residents
• Wash aprons and dishcloths
• Performs any other duties as assigned
• Attend scheduled mandatory trainings as directed
• Stow, label food and supplies as necessary.

SCHEDULE

Full time /Part time min. (2) weekends per month; Holidays as scheduled
