The Pour House at Machinery Hall is looking for part-time Restaurant Assistants to join our team! Our Restaurant Assistants play an important role in helping the restaurant run smoothly and making sure our guests have a great experience. You'll work alongside our servers, bartenders, hosts, and managers while learning the different parts of how a busy restaurant works. You'll get to learn different parts of the restaurant while helping the team throughout your shift. Your day may include resetting tables, running food, helping with guest needs, rolling silverware, or assisting with seating. It's a great way to learn the ins and outs of a busy restaurant while working with a fun team. This is a part-time position and a great opportunity for someone looking for their first job, gaining work experience, or simply looking for a flexible job while in school or working another job. What You'll Do Reset and clear tables so they're ready for the next guests. Roll silverware and help keep service areas stocked and organized. Run food and non-alcoholic beverages to tables. Refill waters and assist guests with basic needs. Assist servers and bartenders with service throughout the shift. Help keep the dining room and guest areas clean, comfortable, and presentable. Assist hosts with seating guests and keeping the dining room organized. Help restock items such as silverware, glassware, plates, and other service supplies. Pay attention to the dining room and look for opportunities to help guests and coworkers. Assist with other restaurant tasks as needed. What We're Looking For No previous restaurant experience required! Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn. Dependable and ready to work.
