Summary:
Performs a variety of food service duties to provide quality, safe food for the satisfaction of our patients/customers. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The Metro Health System.
Qualifications:
Required:
Demonstrates ability to read and write English Demonstrates ability to perform basic math computations Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam
Physical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to climb intermittently during the day. Ability to push/pull/lift 100-300 pounds. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products. Requires exposure to warm and cold temperatures.
