Hotel Breakfast Attendant We are seeking a warm, reliable, and service‑focused Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. In this role, you will help create a welcoming morning experience for guests by preparing, presenting, and maintaining a clean and inviting breakfast area. Overview The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining the breakfast buffet in accordance with established food‑service and presentation standards. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while supporting smooth morning operations. The attendant works closely with the management team to uphold service, safety, and cleanliness expectations. Key Responsibilities Assemble, maintain, and break down the breakfast buffet according to company standards. Prepare food and beverages for service and ensure all items meet health, safety, and presentation guidelines. Keep the buffet fully stocked throughout the shift, refreshing items as needed. Clear and clean tables promptly; wipe down chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary. Maintain a clean, organized breakfast area and ensure service stations remain stocked and tidy. Perform opening and closing side‑work, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing supplies. Alert management to any service, safety, or maintenance concerns. Provide friendly, attentive service and make appropriate service‑recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction. Assist with inventory and other duties as assigned by management. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Basic reading and writing skills. Previous food service experience preferred; general knowledge of restaurant or buffet operations helpful. Strong communication skills when interacting with guests and supervisors. Ability to complete paperwork and inventory tasks accurately. Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to follow food‑handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings and weekends. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (food items, supplies, equipment).
