Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment by following strict sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen appliances and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process cash transactions accurately. Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation protocols. Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations, assisting with food presentation, and ensuring timely service delivery. Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or banquet settings; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety sanitizing protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting or moving heavy items like trays or boxes of supplies. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and warming stations. Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and portion control. Knowledge of wine pairing or wine service enhances guest experience but is not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude; experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly valued. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with POS systems for processing transactions smoothly during busy hours. Previous catering or banquet experience is advantageous for supporting large events seamlessly.
