Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by following recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately. Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food handling areas, kitchen equipment, and sanitation stations. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures. Support operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during busy service times. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and serving food promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred. Knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Retail sales experience or experience working in a café or restaurant environment is advantageous.
