Duties Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh, appealing food items, ensuring all offerings meet food safety standards. Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast foods, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages, adhering to quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift. Greet guests warmly, assist with food selections when needed, and respond promptly to any special dietary requests or inquiries. Monitor food levels regularly to ensure a fully stocked buffet and replenish items as necessary to provide a continuous flow of service. Follow proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure guest safety at all times. Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy morning hours and support catering or banquet setups when required. Experience Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is especially valuable. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of serving techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards within the food industry. Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus. Previous roles involving catering or dietary aide responsibilities will be considered an asset. Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. A genuine passion for hospitality combined with the flexibility to work mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
