Routine manual work involving food production in Food Service cash operations in a high school setting. Work involves preparing and making food options which may include but are not limited to: slicing and weighing of meat, vegetables, fruits and grain products for cooking, assembling, packaging, and packing of menu items. Activities and decisions are routine in nature. Employee follows written and/or oral procedures and practices. Must have the ability to operate commercial dishwasher, meat slicer, ovens, mixers and other small appliances. Ability to handle knives and other sharp items in a safe manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: may include some or all of the following: Prepare, mix and assemble a variety of sandwiches Slice meat, cheese, vegetables or other products for sandwiches or other menu options Pack prepared sandwiches for transport and delivery to units on campus Clean and sanitize work area and equipment Clean all food contact surfaces with sanitizer Sweep and mop floors Wash and sanitize slicing equipment after every use Clean and organize coolers and freezers Cook menu items, prepare steam table set-up and break-down, and clean steam table Record temperature setting on coolers and freezers Operate commercial dishwasher Wash all dishes, utensils, knives and containers Perform cash register duties using POS system Perform other duties as required Must satisfy all job related attendance requirements A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employmentAvailability:
