You'll be at the heart of our food service operation, engaging with guests, preparing delicious dishes, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional in-person customer service to ensure a positive dining experience Assist with food preparation, including plating, garnishing, and ensuring dishes meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools Handle food safety management by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation protocols Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and manage weight handling in the workplace Serve food to guests promptly and professionally, ensuring all dietary needs are met and beverages are properly served with wine knowledge when applicable Support catering or banquet events by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup tasks as needed Adhere to manual handling guidelines to ensure safety during food movement and equipment use Experience Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred Demonstrated food preparation skills within a hospitality or culinary setting Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service background with in-person interaction skills Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately Exposure to catering or banquet service environments is a plus Basic math skills for managing orders and payments effectively Understanding of wine knowledge to enhance guest experience is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for food service meets professional growth!
