m.) As needed per pay period. Duties and Key Responsibilities Plans daily activities (and/or assists co-workers, as needed) to ensure appropriate and timely service and clean up of meals. Portions/serves food neatly and attractively. Maintains established portion control when portioning/serving foods. Covers, labels, and dates all opened, prepped, or leftover food items placed in storage. Efficiently assembles patients' trays according to established procedure; assists with assembling late trays; efficiently serves cafeteria customers. Transports patient tray conveyors to patient units in absence of volunteers. Retrieves dirty tray conveyors following meal service Performs ware washing functions according to establish procedure. Keeps work area clean, sanitized, and orderly throughout the day. Cleans and sanitizes dirty pots, pans, and utensils. Requirements Weekend rotation Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Education/Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Food service experience preferred.
