Day, 7a-7p Demonstrates Competency in theFollowing Areas:
The following job responsibilities will need to be completed by 11:15 a.m. each day. Fill sinks and dishwasher. Clear resident tables. Temp Dishwasher and document temp log. Wash dishes and pans and put away. Take out the trash. Spot sweep the dining rooms. The following job responsibility will need to be completed by 11:50 a.m. each day. Fill resident beverages The following Job responsibilities will need to be completed by end of shift. Fill Coke Machine. Collect any dishes from kitchen/wash and put away (document temp). Help during serving when needed. Buss tables after residents leave. Wash dishes and pans (document temp). Clean counter tops in dish room. Take out the trash in dish room and food prep room. Set tables for dinner. Make sure dining room carpet is clean. Sweep and mop all kitchen areas, bathroom, storage areas and tiles by the refrigerator in the dining room.Requirements Professional Requirements:
Meets dress code standards, appearance is neat and clean. Completes annual education requirements. Wear Identification badge. Attends department meetings/in-services. Attends 75% Gives timely and proper notification of intended absences when sick and taking benefit pay. Maintains attendance, punctual at the start of work shift and adheres to departmental lunch and break periods. Observes departmental policies regarding infection and safety. This includes all food safety rules. Strives to maintain a good rapport and appropriate interdepartmental relationship with other departments. Participates in creating a positive work environment for everyone. Ability to organize and coordinate daily workload. Follows administrative and departmental directives supportively and effectively. Channels suggestions and questions through proper chains of command. (Supervisor, Coordinator, then Administrator)Education/Regulatory Requirements & Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Prior foodservice and/or nutrition related field experience preferred. Must pass the Dietary Ability Test with 80% or greater as given by the Human Resources Department. Obtain a current or temporary Food Handler's Permit offered by the Jackson County Health Department. Demonstrated through prior work experience, the characteristics of steady attendance and punctuality preferred.Language Skills:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.Skills:
Must be able to perform functions and duties of this position. Vision and hearing is essential. Dietary Aide-N720 2Physical Demands:
Physical conditions are clean, neat and well lighted areas. Physical stamina is needed to be able to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, drawl, reach, kneel, pull & twist using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time. Must demonstrate good health and energy and the ability to think and ac t independently in routine emergency situations. Must be able to stand heat while working around the dish washing machine, and changes in temperature when going in and out of the refrigerator, deep freezer area or out of doors.
