About this Position Assist with preparation of nutritious and enjoyable meals and snacks for children ages 12 months to 6 years using approved recipes and in accordance with NAEYC and OKDHS child nutrition guidelines; including portion size and restricted foods. Follow Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines for commercial kitchens; including sanitation and storage of food and chemicals. Assist with sanitation and safe operations of all equipment; including daily cleaning routine and making or reporting necessary repairs on equipment. Assist with the training of student employees that may be assigned to the kitchen. Occasional food preparation for field trips and family events. Perform other duties as assigned.
