Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food handling and food safety management to ensure compliance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, grills, and warming stations safely and efficiently. Restock supplies, condiments, utensils, and beverages to ensure smooth service throughout breakfast hours. Greet guests in person with friendly service, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate special dietary needs when possible. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining a positive attitude during busy periods. Support food preparation tasks including slicing, portioning, and assembling breakfast items as needed. Follow manual handling procedures for weight handling in the workplace to ensure safety during food transport and storage. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as grills, coffee machines, or warming stations. Familiarity with POS systems and processing cash transactions accurately. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling transactions efficiently. Knowledge of wine or beverage service is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights safely, and perform manual handling tasks comfortably. Hospitality background is desirable.
