Job Description

Lithia Springs Resort and Wine Garden is a mineral springs retreat built around natural, sulfur-rich hot springs. Guests come for the healing waters and the peace and quiet of the lovely Rogue Valley. We are currently looking for 2 part time Breakfast Attendants to provide service to our guests at the breakfast buffet. Position Summary:
Responsible for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet while making guest feel welcome, comfortable and well attended to at all times.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for daily preparation of all breakfast food items. Set up and breakdown breakfast buffet Restock, maintain and clean the food serving and preparation areas. Clear tables and clean surrounding breakfast area. Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served. Ensure prompt, courteous service to guests and provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins and cups as necessary. May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed. Fully understand and comply with all food safety requirements. Maintain food at proper temperature. Attend all mandatory meetings. Additional Responsibilities Keep work area neat and organized. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions. Maintain a good working relationship with all departments. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and/or one year related experience and/or training.. Possession of government required licenses or certificates.
Ability to:
Work with minimal supervision. Carry and balance plates, trays, etc. Maintain a professional appearance at all times. Work as part of a team. Communicate effectively. Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions. Work well under pressure. Work any day of the week and any hour.
Physical Requirements:
6-8 hours Standing/Walking 3-6 hours Crouching/Bending/Stooping Lifting/Carrying (up to 50 lbs.) Pay:
$16.50 per hour
