In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for breakfast service, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Your dedication will help create memorable mornings and foster a positive atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service. Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and assembling breakfast items in accordance with safety and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food service equipment by following strict sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays. Handle manual tasks such as lifting food supplies and setting up serving areas while adhering to proper weight handling techniques. Serve guests in person with friendly and attentive customer service, addressing their needs promptly and courteously. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitize all surfaces regularly. Support catering or banquet setups as needed, contributing to special events or large group breakfasts. Skills Previous experience in food handling or food service environments; fine dining or restaurant experience is highly valued. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food industry standards to maintain a hygienic workspace. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels accurately. Familiarity with wine knowledge or bartending skills is a plus for beverage service areas. Experience in catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt to various service styles within the hospitality industry.
