Sep 1, 2026 Job Description Part time food service helpers beginning with the 2026-27 school year. To support the preparation, serving, and accounting of nutritious, eye appealing foods for students, teachers and other support personnel in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.Responsibilities:
- Help prepare and serve hot and/or cold foods.
- Clean up preparation, serving area and equipment used during the day's work.
- Fill and break-down serving line.
- Assist with daily clean-up of pots, pans, utensils, counters, serving area, etc.
- Have working knowledge of safe operation of all equipment including ovens, steamtable, warmers, etc.
- Be able to lift milk cases into cooler (approximately 30 pounds).
- Cashier at serving times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or the Supervisor of Food Service.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- No experience is necessary, but previous food service experience preferred.
- Cashier experience is preferred.
- Ability and personality to be able to deal with students, teachers other support personnel and the public.
- Physical capacity to perform all assigned duties.
Hours:
10 months, 4.5 hours per day (hours vary)Salary:
$15.50 per hour- As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms.
