Overview Join our vibrant team as a Morning Breakfast Attendant, working every other weekend and as needed thru the week to deliver a warm, welcoming start to our guests' day! In this lively role, you'll be the first face they see, ensuring a delightful breakfast experience through attentive service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable mornings for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of our breakfast service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with attention to quality and presentation, including hot and cold dishes. Set up breakfast area, ensuring all food items are stocked, properly labeled, and maintained at appropriate temperatures. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas, and adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and food warmers. Follow food safety management protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards. Requirements Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures is highly desirable. Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and operating kitchen equipment safely. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing food quantities. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor for in-person interactions. Experience with food handling, serving, and familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. A background in culinary arts or hospitality industry experience will help you excel in this role.
