POSITION
Re-Post Part-Time Food Service Worker • Please note that if you have previously applied or interviewed for this position, your application remains under active consideration.
LOCATION
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (initial assignment—potential to work at other district buildings as needed)
HOURS:
Monday through Friday; part-time-9:00 to 1:45, but could fluctuate slightly based on school lunch
SALARY:
New employees: $19.00/hr ($18.50 x first 60 working days) Current employees: per bargaining agreement

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability to deal with students, faculty, parents, and staff in a courteous, professional manner The ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in faced paced environment The ability to accurately handle and record cash transactions Excellent customer service a must Knowledge of food safety preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, including the use of commercial ovens and related equipment. Assist with completing records and logs as mandated by state and federal guidelines Use proper sanitation and safety procedures Maintain knowledge of National School Breakfast and Lunch Program regulations Assist with receipt of food deliveries May utilize computerized point of sale system for student transactions May prepare or assist in preparing and setting up refreshments for special functions
