Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, providing excellent service and product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization Conduct product demos or samples when appropriate to promote items and increase sales opportunities Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to maximize sales potential Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors, ensuring clear and professional interactions Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking practices Demonstrated ability to follow food recipes, implement food safety procedures and provide customers with suggestions for completing their event menu Join us today to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while building your career in a fast-paced retail environment!
