The Award-Winning SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin Cedar Park is looking for a positive and friendly early riser to join our Team as a part-time Breakfast Attendant, two days per week. A Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast to customers. Interact with hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience. Breakfast Attendants should maintain positive guest interactions while serving breakfasts to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Setting up and maintaining the breakfast area as required by brand standards Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day Ordering or purchasing food supplies Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc. Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated Preparing and setting up hot food items Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand Wiping up spills Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day Washing serving equipment and returning to storage Returning reusable food supplies to storage Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner. Ensure the breakfast and lounge area looks neat, clean and inviting. Provide guidance to guests on local activities, dining options and general area information. Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. if required. Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies. Comply with all food and beverage regulations

PREREQUISITES

Must be able to communicate in English, both written and spoken. Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required. Food Handlers Card is required before first day of work.
