Your Role:
Set the stage for a perfect service by assisting the servers in table maintenance, bussing tables, stocking wait stations, and general restaurant cleanliness. Our Bussers are the silent backbone of our service team. This entry-level position gives experience in our restaurant operations and can be a stepping stone to other positions within the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the servers in keeping tables tidy and waters full during service
  • Maintain open communication throughout the shift with the hosts and servers to efficiently turn tables
  • Bus all empty tables and reset for the next guest
  • Maintain clean and fully stocked wait stations before and during service
  • Clean the wait station after every shift and break down at the end of the night
  • Stock silverware throughout the shift
  • Check restrooms every fifteen minutes to ensure they are stocked and clean
  • Keep floors clean of any debris or spills
  • Assist in any extra cleaning duties
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Food Handler's license and TABC Certification required
Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often the majority of a shift.
  • Frequently required to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs (e.g., cases of product, small equipment).
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and working in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Ability to move quickly and safely through crowded spaces and in close proximity to hot surfaces, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varying temperatures.
  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness to ensure safety, quality, and service standards are met at all times.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 150 lbs with the help of equipment like a dolly.
  • Occasionally required to speak in front of large groups, including team members and guests.
  • May be required to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays, and adjust to occasional schedule changes based on business needs.
