You'll guide the banquet team through setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring every detail meets our standards for exceptional hospitality. You'll work closely with event planners, culinary leadership, and the Banquet team to anticipate needs, manage timing, and ensure guests receive attentive and professional service. Your leadership, organization, and ability to make decisions in the moment will help bring every event together successfully. Education and Experience Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event diagrams. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and support banquet team members. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of food and beverage service and banquet operations. Ability to communicate effectively with culinary, service, and event teams. Ability to monitor guest counts, event timing, service standards, and banquet checks. Knowledge of responsible alcohol service requirements. Ability to maintain accurate records and complete daily banquet documentation. Professional appearance and commitment to hotel grooming and service standards. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Active, hands-on position requiring extended periods of standing and walking during events. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and move throughout banquet and event spaces. Ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely maneuver around tables, chairs, food service equipment, and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor. Ability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. Must follow all hotel safety, sanitation, food handling, and alcohol service requirements.
