Job description: Food & Beverage Attendant (Part-Time, Weekends) Fields at Station 63 - Mansfield, Texas About Fields at Station 63 Located in Mansfield, Texas, is a premier destination for athletes, families, and sports enthusiasts. The park features eight baseball and softball fields with full synthetic turf, providing a superior playing experience regardless of weather conditions. Complementing the outdoor facilities, the park includes an indoor turf field ideal for year-round training, games, and events, as well as a batting cage area designed for skill development. Adding to its appeal, Fields at Station 63 also offers two state-of-the-art restaurants that provide a vibrant dining and social atmosphere for spectators and participants. With world-class facilities, modern amenities, and a welcoming environment, Fields at Station 63 serves as a hub for community engagement and hosts numerous tournaments, leagues, and special events throughout the year. Position Summary The Food & Beverage Attendant plays an essential role in supporting both front-of-house concessions operations and back-of-house food preparation. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, and ensuring safe food handling practices. This is a part-time position primarily scheduled on weekends, supporting tournaments, leagues, and special events. Employees may occasionally be asked to work weekday shifts based on operational needs and special events. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist in both service and kitchen operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service & Guest Support Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service to guests at concession stands and dining areas. Operate electronic registers and credit card machines for customer transactions. Communicate with guests in a tactful, polite, and helpful manner. Monitor guest behavior and immediately alert management to suspicious activity, intoxicated individuals, or safety concerns. Assist with guest check-in and support for party rentals, including setup of supplies and event areas. Food Preparation & Kitchen Support Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. Assist with daily food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, mixing, and portioning ingredients. Set up and stock food preparation and service stations with necessary supplies. Safely operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and mixers. Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure proper food safety and temperature control during preparation and service. Sanitation & Facility Maintenance Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both kitchen and concession areas. Clean dining tables, counters, and concession areas regularly. Collect dishes, utensils, glasses, and trash from dining areas. Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, carts, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety standards. Refill condiment containers and ensure service areas remain stocked and organized. Inventory & Operational Support Assist with unloading deliveries and transporting food and supplies from trucks or storage areas. Organize and store inventory in designated storage areas following proper food storage guidelines. Notify management of low inventory levels, equipment issues, or operational concerns. Follow all facility safety procedures and food handling regulations. Additional Responsibilities Report any cash register errors or adjustments to management immediately. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Kitchen Manager. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age . Previous customer service, food service, or kitchen experience preferred. Experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer preferred. Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and instructions. Understanding basic food safety and sanitation practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and organizational skills. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle equipment, utensils, and tools. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as needed. Must be able to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds . Work may involve exposure to hot kitchen equipment, sharp utensils, and cleaning chemicals. Position is primarily scheduled on weekends, with occasional weekday shifts depending on events, staffing needs, or facility operations. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
