Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant, where you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience each morning. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring food presentation and quality meet established standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks as needed Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable Support in setting up buffet stations or serving areas before service begins and resetting after service concludes Ensure proper weight handling in the workplace when handling supplies or food items Engage with guests in person with friendly, attentive customer service to enhance their breakfast experience Adhere to all food safety management protocols and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; culinary or hospitality background is a plus Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and safe food handling practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory counts Experience with POS systems is advantageous Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling tasks effectively Fine dining or food industry experience is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for hospitality is key Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms breakfast into an unforgettable start to our guests' day.
