Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces. Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service stations, ensuring all items are properly stocked and available. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines. Monitor food inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective food service operations. Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about new policies, procedures, and menu changes.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is advantageous. Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a cafeteria or institutional setting, is desirable. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is beneficial.
