Job Description
Duties assigned by Cafeteria Manager
Education Preferred:
High School Diploma/GED
Certification Required:
Able to obtain Food Handler's Certification from the City of Mt. Pleasant (MPISD will pay for this training and certificate)
Experience Preferred:
1 year restaurant or school food service
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and write; Able to perform basic math; Effective planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of commercial food service equipment and proper food safety procedures preferred
Mental/Physical Demands:
Work under rigid time schedules; Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress
Standing for long periods of time; Frequent standing, walking, pushing, and pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling; Able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted
