Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook/ Cahier to join our dynamic Cafe team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and meal service, with a passion for providing a friendly and enjoyable eating experience for our league and other guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals and dishes, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. We do receive tips as a team and tip pool at the end of every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines
• Support the kitchen team in meal preparation, including food preparation and plating
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests receive a memorable dining experience
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment
• Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices
• Ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including those with dietary restrictions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
• Stand for long periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• A passion for food preparation and customer service
