The Food Service Worker participates in all facets of camp food service including food preparation, serving, and sanitation. Must be able to work flexible hours that may include weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep all work area and dining room areas clean and sanitized. Prep food for cooking. Prepare food in accordance with the designed menu to be ready to serve at designated meal times. Observe all food safety requirements as outlined by camp policies and Grayson County Health Department regulations. Serve Texas Elks Camp on Texoma guests and staff in a courteous and friendly manner. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience with food service, including food preparation and safe food handling. Must have food handler's permit or food manager certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
