Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Prior experience in restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and appealing Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food handling duties including portioning, plating, and presentation of breakfast dishes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Restock supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients and utensils Buss tables promptly after guests finish dining and assist with general cleaning duties as needed Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy breakfast hours Skills Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is advantageous Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent guest relations Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness standards Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and dietary accommodations preferred Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette and guest interaction skills Basic culinary skills including knife skills, meat cutting, or coffee experience are beneficial Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts as needed in a hospitality environment This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and food service to grow their skills while delivering memorable guest experiences.
