You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional breakfast experience by preparing, serving, and maintaining a welcoming dining area. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will set the tone for guests' entire day, ensuring they start off on a positive note. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast stations with food items, beverages, and condiments according to safety standards Serve guests with friendly, prompt, and professional in-person customer service, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays Handle food safely during processing, storage, and presentation while following proper food handling protocols Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, or portioning ingredients as needed for breakfast offerings Follow food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent contamination Support cleaning routines including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste properly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and handling practices in a restaurant environment Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with an energetic and positive attitude Ability to lift weight safely during food handling or cleaning tasks in accordance with workplace standards Culinary experience or knowledge of the food industry is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
