Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION
To assist with cooking, baking, preparing, and serving food items for general consumption by students and school personnel and to maintain facilities and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in the preparation of student and staff lunches. Assist in cleaning up the kitchen, dishwashing room, and dining room. Putting away and organizing Freight. Utilize exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness at all times. Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Incumbents must be fingerprinted, and a criminal background check must be cleared. High school education or equivalent required. Prior food service or related field experience preferred. Food Handlers permit.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling. They are constantly standing. Typically, they do not work at heights above ten feet. Usually, they do not lift any object weighing more than fifty pounds.
