$14.00 /Hour Summary As a Food Service Worker, you play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for students, staff, and guests. Your work directly contributes to the success of the Mountainland Grill and campus catering events, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served with care. In this role, you will help craft delicious dishes, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean, safe food-preparation environment—all while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to: Prepare a variety of fresh, high-quality meals for daily service and special events.

Assemble and present dishes for college functions, maintaining a professional, meticulous attention to detail.

Use kitchen tools and equipment safely, including fryers, stoves, mixers, and choppers.

Provide friendly, efficient service at Mountainland Grill to enhance the dining experience for all guests.

Support the Food Services Manager by tracking stock levels and helping with inventory management.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food-preparation area in compliance with all food safety guidelines.

Pay close attention to detail in food presentation, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Education Requirements:

A high school diploma or the equivalent.

Certifications:

A Food Handler's Permit is required.

Experience:

Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.

Organizational Abilities:

Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
