Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Assist with bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to support smooth service flow. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and food items following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support food service operations by serving guests with professionalism and friendly communication skills, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm. Participate in food handling procedures, including proper storage, preparation support, and adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively and deliver seamless service. Contribute to kitchen maintenance tasks such as cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations to uphold sanitation standards (including daily/weekly sidework). Assist in setting up tables with proper tableware and ensuring a welcoming dining environment for guests. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly desirable; restaurant experience is a plus. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Ability to perform manual labor; handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food handling, and kitchen operations will support your success in this role.
