GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Works under the general supervision of the cafeteria manager in performing a variety of duties in the kitchen and service areas to prepare well balanced, nutrious meals for students and staff.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or GED. At least two years experence in large quantity cookery. Ability to work cooperatively with cafeteria staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Certificate from the Health Department permitting candidate to handle food.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Food preparation. Food handling from preparation to serving. Collect money and/or meal tickets. Cleaning of equipment, utensils and designated areas. Receiving and storage of food supplies. Regular on time attendance. Performs related duties as assigned by the manager.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
