Position SummaryThe In-Room Dining Telephone Sales Attendant is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by handling food and beverage orders with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests ordering In-Room Dining and plays an important role in driving revenue through menu knowledge and personalized service.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer guest calls and process In-Room Dining food and beverage orders accurately.
Provide menu recommendations and assist guests with selections, substitutions, and special requests.
Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
Enter orders accurately and communicate effectively with culinary and service teams.
Maintain detailed records of guest orders and transactions.
Respond professionally to guest inquiries regarding menus, services, and resort amenities.
Ensure all orders are delivered according to Salamander and Forbes Five-Star service standards.
Support the In-Room Dining team with additional operational duties as assigned.
QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hospitality, restaurant, call center, guest service, or food and beverage experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
